A ripe and pungently earthy nose possesses plummy, indeed almost jammy, aromas that are trimmed in violet and humus hints. The rich, succulent and caressing medium-bodied flavors possess a lovely sense of underlying tension before culminating in a punchy and moderately rustic finale. This isn't elegant but it's satisfying in its fashion.
